BoB Vs Local Feed & Seed. The Winner Is...

BoB Vs Local Feed & Seed. The Winner Is...

I want to let you in on a little secret that has helped The Process Outdoors become much more successful .  There is a lot of back and forth on the internet about whether BoB (Buck on Bag) seed is worth the money or are you better off going to the local elevator and getting cheaper seed.  I have had success with both of those things and will never tell someone either of them are wrong.  I can understand the argument that price is everything and everyone gets their seed from the same place.  I can also understand the argument that the name brand handles seed better, mix seed better and will not be selling you old seed.  I have also seen both of those things be incorrect.

For the right balance of quality and price I have landed somewhere in between and identified what I believe to be the best seed supplier out there.   They are not a BoB or a local spot... they are something else.  They are able to get the seed from producer and handle it the way you or I would.  They make mixes with the hunter in mind and ensure that what is delivered to you is a product that any of us would want.

Northwoods Whitetails Inc food plot seed is our choice when it comes to all things food plot.  They have proven to us that we could not ask for more out of their quality and their price point beats out the BoB retailers.

They are a Michigan based company that have developed their seed mixes based on experience in the woods.  Over years of testing and experience they have found the best sources of seed for their mixes and price them in a way that all of us every day hunters can appreciate.

Not only is their seed of the highest quality and priced the best but they are willing to help you 7 days a week.  I have found myself many times reaching out for advice on planting times and strategy.  Always willing to help and enjoy seeing you succeed you will not find better customer service.

Price

For your comparison here are some price points for you to look at.  These are our three favorite mixes that we use each year.  I would recommend you look at involving them in your process as well.

Quality

Northwoods Whitetails may have the best prices but more importantly they send you a product you can count on.  I have had good years of planting from both the BoB and the local seed stores.  However I have never had the consistency or the support that Northwoods offers since I have made the switch. If you follow social media groups about food plots you will see many others giving their approval and encouraging others to go with the products.

Not only do you know that your seed has been handled better than you most likely would have handled it but you also get customer service and advice better than any other.  The owner of Northwoods is always willing to help you be successful.

Here is a review from one of our most trusted sources when it comes to food plots Jeff Sturgis of Whitetail Habitat Solutions:

“As a professional habitat consultant, I write about, teach and practice diversity in the management of food plots. I have never endorsed a seed company until now. John has created blends that not only include seed varieties of optimum volume and quality, but with a great deal of diversity. The diversity in the Northwoods blends are designed to provide multi-season attraction, holding ability and high quality hunting opportunities. I am excited to recommend the Northwoods Whitetails blends to you, as well as use them for my own personal food plot creations.”
